Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Bert Oldfield Public School! We are excited to have you as part of our vibrant learning community, where we focus on helping every student grow and succeed.
At Bert Oldfield, we believe in working together. Our staff, students, and families collaborate to create a friendly atmosphere that encourages communication and teamwork. This positive environment makes our school a welcoming place for everyone. Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be a Learner are the core values of our school. We encourage everyone in our community to treat each other kindly and with understanding. This culture of respect creates a positive atmosphere where every student can grow and develop important social skills.
We understand that the partnership between the school, parents, and the community is essential. By working together, we can better support our students’ education. We invite parents to get involved in their children’s learning and participate in school activities and events as often as possible.
Recognising that every child is unique is central to our teaching approach. We celebrate diversity and acknowledge that each student has different strengths, interests, and needs. Our dedicated staff use various teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles, ensuring that all students have the chance to succeed.
As part of the Blacktown Learning Community, our school connects with other local schools to offer a wide range of activities and programs. This collaboration allows our students to engage in sports, arts, and cultural events, helping them develop new skills and friendships while gaining valuable experiences.
Thank you for being an important part of our school community. Together, we can create a nurturing environment that empowers our children to reach their full potential. We look forward to a successful and rewarding school journey ahead!
