Bert Oldfield Public School has a dedicated Video Conferencing classroom, whereby students and teachers can engage in real time virtual excursions across the world. All NSW DEC schools have this facility which enable students to dial into any conferencing centre in the world or any school in the world with conferencing facilities and participate in a project or presentation with those children. And it all happens in real time. The facility also enables our students to talk to facilitators or presenters and students in other schools, and of course, ask questions to further their learning and understanding.
